Korean Chicken Stew At Home In Six Easy Steps

Dakdoritang is a type of Korean chicken stew which is spicy and made by braising chicken in a spicy red sauce along with veggies such as carrots, onions, potatoes etc. Here's how you can make it at home.

Ingredients

Multigrain pizza dough  Sun dried tomatoes  Jalapeño  Broccoli  Corn  Red onion  Basil  Cashew cream  Cherry tomatoes  Olive oil  Salt & pepper

Step 1

Take bite-sized pieces of chicken. Wash and drain them and make a seasoning paste with hot pepper flakes, sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic etc.

Step 2

Mix the chicken and some onions into the seasoning paste. Mix it with a spoon. Add 2 cups of water to the pot, and bring to a boil over medium heat for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Cut the potatoes into large chinks and 15 minutes later, add them to the pot. Let it cook for 20 minutes with a closed lid

Take the lid away and let it simmer for another 10-12 minutes
