Making your own kombucha, a fermented drink that is both tasty and good for you thanks to its high probiotic content, is easy and satisfying.
Prepare a robust infusion of black or green tea and incorporate a measured amount of sugar until fully dissolved.
Allow the tea to reach a suitable temperature before decanting it into a clear glass vessel.
To initiate the fermentation process, add a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (SCOBY) along with a cup of matured kombucha.
To properly aerate your mixture, cover a breathable cloth over the jar's opening and fasten it with a rubber band.
Give it 7-10 days to ferment.
