Kokum is a fruit-bearing tree that grows in the coastal areas like Goa and the Konkan region. It is widely used as a souring agent in cooking.
Not just cooking, the kokum syrup and juice are consumed during summers to hydrate oneself. However, you can also make a yummy kokum mocktail with these easy steps.
• Kokum syrup (if you don’t find dried Kokum) • Soda • Lemon Juice • Black salt • Cumin • Salt • Powdered sugar • Mint leaves
Pour the kokum syrup in a glass. Add roasted cumin, black salt, salt, sugar and lemon juice to it.
Mix all the ingredients together and pour some soda on it.
Add a few ice cubes, sprinkle fresh mint leaves and serve chilled.
