Khaja is a crispy, crunchy dessert with lots of layers and coated sugar. It is a great teatime snack for kids and adults. Try this crispy goodness at home without buying it from outside.
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 cup water Sugar for coating
Mix flour, ghee, salt, and baking soda to make a dough. Let it rest.
Using a knife or cookie cutter, cut the dough into long, thin strips.
Fry the khaja until golden brown and crispy.
Drain the khaja on paper towels and coat them with sugar.
