Kesar Pista Smoothie, A Plant-Based Refreshment

The Kesar Pista Smoothie is an exotic and delicious drink made from saffron, pistachios, and other components. 

Ingredients

1 frozen banana, 10 soaked pistachios (soaked in warm water for 30 mins), 2 soft pitted black dates, 3 soaked almonds (overnight soaked), 3 green cardamom (remove the skin or cardamom powder), 10 to 15 saffron strands (soaked in water for 30 mins), 1/2 cup coconut milk or any plant-based milk

Step 1 

Start by blending 1 frozen banana, 10 soaked pistachios, 2 soft pitted black dates, 3 soaked almonds, 3 green cardamom, and 10 to 15 saffron strands (soaked in water).  

Step 2 

Add 1/2 cup of coconut milk or any plant-based milk of your choice.  

Step 3 

Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk if desired.  

Step 4  

Serve chilled and garnish with a few saffron strands or crushed pistachios.
