Treat yourself to the divine flavors of Kesar Ilaichi Shrikhand—a luxurious Indian sweet made with strained yogurt, saffron, cardamom, and a touch of sweetness.
2 cups thick yogurt 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/4 tsp saffron strands 1 tbsp warm milk 1/2 tsp cardamom powder Chopped pistachios and almonds for garnish
Tie the yogurt in a muslin cloth or a thin kitchen towel and hang it over for 4-5 hours.
In a small bowl, add saffron strands to warm milk. Once the yogurt is thick and drained, transfer it to a mixing bowl.
Add powdered sugar and mix well add the saffron strands into the yogurt mixture.
Add cardamom powder to the yogurt and mix again. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours.
Serve chilled. Garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds. Enjoy this delicious treat!
