Barfi is a one-of-a-kind dessert that can give you the taste of royalty with the hint of kesar, and everyone loves barfi on a sweet note. Try this easy and delicious dessert to serve this festival season to impress your guests.
1 cup khoya (milk solids) 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder A few strands of saffron 1 tablespoon ghee (clarified butter) Chopped pistachios or almonds for garnish
Soak saffron strands in a few tablespoons of warm milk for 10-15 minutes.
Combine khoya, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron-infused milk.
Cook the mixture until it becomes slightly sticky, and add ghee.
Let it cool and cut, then garnish with chopped pistachios or almonds.
