2 tbsp coriander seeds 2 cups peas 2 large onions 3 dry red chillies 1 tsp garam masala 2 tsp oil ¼ tsp turmeric 1 cup coconut milk Salt to taste 2 tomatoes, garlic cloves 1-inch ginger 1 tbsp coconut oil ¼ tsp mustard seeds
Heat a pan and saute red chillies and coriander seeds. Let them cool off and grind.
Use another pan to cook chopped onion. When the slices turn brown, add tomatoes, garlic, and ginger.
Keep the blend aside to cool while you boil peas in turmeric water.
Turn the mixture into a smooth paste and cook it with peas and water for at least 6-8 minutes.
Sprinkle coriander mixture, pour coconut milk, and add garam masala.
Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves before serving.
