Sliced almonds or crushed pistachios for garnish.
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a pan.
Add the crushed cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, and saffron strands to the water. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to infuse the flavours.
Add the green tea leaves or tea bags and simmer for another minute. Do not over-boil, as this may make the tea bitter.
Strain the tea into cups. Add sugar or honey.
Sprinkle sliced almonds or crushed pistachios on top for an authentic touch.
