Karsk: This Ancient Cocktail Comes With A Kick Of Coffee

Also known as Kask, is a Swedish or Norwegian cocktail made with hot coffee, sugar and Moonlight liquor. But since Moonlight is now illegal in many countries, Vodka is used as a substitute.  

The name is derived from the Old Scandinavian word ‘karski’, meaning agile. Here’s how you can make it at home.  

Ingredients: 

3 tablespoons of coffee beans   A small cup of milk Water Sugar as per taste 30ml vodka 

Step 1

Brew a fresh and light coffee using milk and coffee beans. Do not brew a very strong coffee 

Step 2

Take a glass and pour the coffee into it and quickly mix it with vodka. Your drink is ready to serve and relish.
