The study "Antiobesity and Lipid-lowering properties of murraya koenigii" found that curry leaves' carbazole alkaloids decrease obesity, triglycerides, and cholesterol.
Mahanimbine, an alkaloid found in curry leaves, helps fight obesity and lowers cholesterol levels.
This property in curry leaves or kadi patta also helps in an improved digestive system. This ensures the body doesn't store unnecessary toxins.
There is preliminary evidence that curry leaves can have a beneficial effect on regulating blood sugar levels and, by extension, weight control.
Include curry leaves in your cooking. Similarly, curry leaves are most effective when eaten and chewed first thing on an empty stomach.
Ingredients Fresh curry leaves 15-20 Drinking water- 1 litre Lemon juice (optional) Honey (optional)
Put 15 to 20 curry leaves in a pot of water and bring to a boil. After steeping for a few minutes, remove the leaves by straining the water.
Honey and lemon juice are great additions to improve the flavour. Take this cocktail on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.
