For Kofta

2 raw bananas (kachkola/kachcha kela) 2 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and mashed 2 tablespoons gram flour (besan) 1 teaspoon ginger paste 1 teaspoon green chilli paste Salt to taste Oil for frying

For Curry

1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 bay leaf 2-3 green cardamom pods 2-3 cloves 1-inch cinnamon stick 1 medium-sized onion 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste 2 medium-sized tomatoes 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder Fresh coriander leaves

Step 1

Boil the raw bananas and add mashed potatoes with spices and shape them into Koftas.

Heat oil and fry the koftas until golden brown.

Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the spices in the ingredients to make gravy.

Cover and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes. Then, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
