Kaccha aam or kairi is a summertime delicacy that everyone waits for. It is used to make a lot of dishes. Click to see the recipe of kairi ki meethi chutney.
2 kacchi kairi 1 cup jaggery 4 elaichi pods 1/2 tsp paanch foran 1 cup water 1 tsp neutral oil
Peel the kacche kairi and finely grate them. Squeeze the water off.
In a pan, heat some oil and put paanchphoran in it. Cook for a minute.
Add the grated mango and cook for 10 minutes on a low flame. Then add the jaggery.
Add water and cook for 5 more minutes. Serve the chutney with paratha or lunch thalis.
