Jowar is nutritious and healthy to consume whether you are fasting or not. It is the perfect ingredient to begin your day with. Here is how to make chilla with it for breakfast or snack time.
¼ cup wheat flour ¼ cup jowar flour ¼ cup chopped onion ¼ cup oats flour 2 tbsp chopped coriander 2 tbsp chopped green chillies ½ cup chopped tomatoes Salt to taste Oil and water as needed
In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and give them a whisk.
Add water, onion, tomatoes, chillies, coriander leaves, and salt to the mix.
Whisk the ingredients to form a lump-free concoction.
You can also add cumin powder and red chilli powder.
Add a pinch of fruit salt and spread a small amount of batter on a hot skillet.
Pour ghee on the edges and cook the base until it is crispy. Serve the chilla hot with chutney.
