If you are someone who likes to taste different types of greens, then you will definitely love this recipe. Lauki greens can be made into tasty traditional dal.
1 cup urad dal 1 bunch lauki leaves 1 onion 2 cloves garlic 1 inch ginger 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste 3 cups water
Wash the urad dal and soak it in water for at least 30 minutes. Sauté aromatics and add spices.
Add the chopped lauki leaves and soaked urad dal to the pan. Top-up with the ghee.
Season with salt and serve.
