Jharkhand and its rich forests are known for different types of wild berries, which taste delicious. One such wild berry, Ber, is loved in the region for its sweet and tangy taste. Learn how to make a delicious ber chutney in these simple steps.
1 cup wild ber berries (bahra) 1/2 cup jaggery 1/4 cup water 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt to taste Oil for tempering
Mix soaked berries, jaggery, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
Cook until the chutney thickens and the flavours combine.
Serve with cumin tempering on top.
