Jharkhand's Famous Aloo Chop Recipe To Try

When it comes to aloo chop, there are millions of recipes throughout India, as the dish is preferred as an evening snack, which is easy to make besides pakora. Try the Jharkhandi version of it, which is famous to have when travelling through different locations while touring.

Ingredients

2 large potatoes 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon platter fennel Salt to taste 1/2 cup besan (gram flour) Water Oil for frying

Step 1

Combine the mashed potatoes, onion, green chilli, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, platter fennel, and salt. Mix well.

Step 2

Mix besan with water to form a thick batter. Add some salt.

Step 3

Take a spoonful of the potato mixture and shape it into a round patty. Dip the patties in the besan batter.

Step 4

Fry the chops until golden brown and crispy.

Step 5

Serve hot with ghugni.
