Janmashtami is almost here, and if you are looking for some thematic Prasad dishes or sweets to include, then make sure you give this recipe a try!
Milk - 1 litre Sugar - 1 cup Ghee - 1/4 cup Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon Dry fruits (cashews, almonds) - for decoration
Pour milk into a pan and cook over low heat until it thickens into mawa.
Add sugar and ghee to the mixture and cook until it becomes thick and sticky.
Add cardamom powder, let the mixture cool slightly, and then shape it into small peda balls.
Decorate the pedas with dry fruits.
