Jaljeera: Refresh Yourself With This Tangy Summer Drink

Looking for a desi drink to cool down this summer? Make jaljeera.

Ingredients

1 cup coriander leaves, 1 cup mint leaves, ½ cup sugar, 1.5 tsp chat masala powder, 1.5 tsp cumin powder, 1 small tamarind, 3 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp salt, 3 cm ginger (peeled and chopped), cold water as needed, ice cubes as needed

Step 1

Take all the ingredient in a blender and make it into a fine paste add little water to it.

Step 2

Strain this through a sieve. You can store this syrup in a fridge for a week.

Step 3

Now add more water to it and mix well. Mix and serve cold.
