Diwali is a time to put your A-game when it comes to serving traditional dishes and beverages. To quickly whip up the all-time favourite jaljeera, why don’t you follow this easy recipe?
8 cups water 1/2 cup mint leaves 1/2 cup coriander leaves 2 tablespoons cumin 1 tablespoon imli chutney 5 tablespoons lemon juice 4 tablespoons sugar syrup 1 teaspoon black salt Ice cubes
Heat 1/4 cup of water and add the tangy imli chutney to it.
Blend the mint leaves, coriander leaves, imli water, cumin, lemon juice, and sugar syrup.
Add some water and blend till you get a smooth liquid.
Sieve the concentrated mixture to get rid of any leaves and mix in chilled water.
Add black salt and some more lemon juice as per your preference.
Stir in some ice cubes, and your jaljeera will be ready.
