Jack rose is a brandy cocktail with roots tracing back to the early 19th century. It has its early mentions in a novel written by prolific American writer Ernest Hemingway.
30 ml applejack 10 ml lime juice 20 ml grenadine
Take a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes and pour freshly squeezed lime juice to it, then add the remaining two ingredients gently.
Shake the ingredients and mix well. Once done, strain into a coupe glass.
Serve the drink garnished with a lemon wheel or by placing a cherry on the rim of the glass.
