Halwa is a commonly-eaten dessert in many Indian households. This one’s not made with atta or sooji but jackfruit. Dunk it in and sweeten with jaggery.
The ladoos are made with the crunchy and nutritious seeds of jackfruit, which is paired with jaggery, cardamom powder and grated coconut. Roll and let them set before eating.
South Indian version of kheer, payasam is a milky pudding, made with rice or vermicelli. Here, jackfruit is combined with jaggery and it is topped with chopped cashews.
