A shot of whiskey delicately layered over Irish Cream in a shot class, dropped in a glass of stout beer. Sounds explosive right, that’s the Irish Car Bomb for you!
The cocktail doesn’t have any Irish origins. The etymology may have something to do with ‘Irish’ ingredients such as Guinness stout, Baileys Irish Cream and Irish Whiskey. The term ‘car bomb’ could be a reference to the infamous car bombings of Ireland's Troubles.
