Give the classic gin and tonic drink a fresh twist by infusing it with rejuvenating blueberries; a perfect summertime concoction, the blueberry gin and tonic cocktail is guaranteed to uplift your outdoor parties and energise your guests. Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries 360 millilitres tonic water 30 millilitres gin 2 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 tablespoon water Ice Lime wedges for serving

Method Step 1

Simmer granulated sugar, blueberries, and water in a pan over medium heat. Lower the heat, allowing the mixture to cook for about 5 minutes till the blueberries begin disintegrating.

Step 2

Transfer the resulting blueberry syrup into a separate container and place it in the refrigerator for chilling.

Step 3

Once chilled, pour the blueberry syrup into stylish cocktail glasses. Introduce gin into the glasses, and top off the drink with a splash of water.

Step 4

Pour additional gin and tonic water, if needed. Lastly, garnish the drink with a lime wedge. Cheers!
