Crispy, golden and succulent on the inside, beer-batter chicken tenders are the best treat you can have for your next house party. Here is the easy-peasy recipe.
6 chicken tenders 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup cold beer ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp garlic powder ½ tsp onion powder ½ tsp paprika powder ½ tsp dried rosemary ½ tsp black pepper Salt, to taste Oil, to fry
Wash, clean and pat dry the chicken tenders. Bash them a bit with a rolling pin to thin them out a little.
Place the all-purpose flour, baking soda, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, black pepper, dried rosemary and salt.
Mix everything thoroughly then gradually add in the cold beer to make a thick batter. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.
Heat the oil properly in a wok. Test if it by dropping a few drops of the batter: if the batter fries up immediately, proceed.
Dip the chicken tenders in the beer batter and coat it properly. Place in the hot oil and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve the beer batter chicken tenders with a side of dip, fries and lemon wedges.
