Instant Rabri Tres Leches Cake For Last Minute Dessert Cravings

Enjoy this dessert that can be put together in a matter of moments with a few things from your pantry and buying a few ingredients from the store to make this moist and delicious tres leches with a desi twist.

INGREDIENTS

1 loaf vanilla sponge cake ½ cup rabri ½ cup heavy cream 1 cup milk 1 teaspoon cardamom powder 1 cup whipped cream Crushed pistachios, for garnish

METHOD

Slice the vanilla sponge cake into 1-inch thick slices and line in a microwave dish.

METHOD

Mix together the heavy cream, rabri, milk and cardamom powder and pour half over the first layer of cake.

METHOD

Slather some whipped cream on top and repeat the first two steps for the second layer.

METHOD

Continue to layer until the dish is full and garnish with crushed pistachios.

METHOD

Allow it to sit for 10 minutes in the fridge before serving it.
