Spinach for breakfast is a good option. You will start your morning with a serving of iron on the side. It is a perfect companion for your rushed mornings. Try this easy recipe.
½ carrot, tomato 1 cup spinach puree ½ tsp turmeric, chilli powder ½ cup curd, rava 1 tsp cumin, ginger paste A pinch of hing Oil for roasting Salt to taste 1 cup water ¼ tsp ajwain 1 cup besan ¼ tsp garlic paste/ powder ½ chopped onion 2 tbsp coriander leaves
Wash the veggies thoroughly chop them and keep them aside soaked in salt and chilli powder.
Combine curd, semolina, palak puree, and water in a bowl. Make a smooth batter.
Add salt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin, and ajwain.
Heat a griddle and spread the rava batter after resting for 15 minutes.
Once the chilla is 80% cooked, add the veggie mixture on top.
Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and enjoy the delight with chutney.
