Making dosa in the morning seems impossible because the batter needs 6-8 hours to ferment. However, with the instant onion rava dosa recipe, you can prepare a delicious breakfast in just a jiffy.
½ cup rice flour ½ cup rava 1 chopped onion ½ tsp cumin & pepper powder 1 chopped green chilli 1 sprig of curry leaves 2 tbsp coriander leaves 1 tsp ginger & red chilli powder 1/4 cup maida 1 tbsp curd 2.5 cups water
Combine rice flour, rava, and maida in a deep vessel. Add curd and water to it and keep stirring.
Once you have a smooth concoction with no lumps, add all the chopped vegetables and spices.
Give the ingredients a good mix and keep the batter aside for 20 minutes.
Make sure that the consistency of the batter is runny and not thick.
Spread the dosa batter on a hot pan and let it cook. Spread oil on its edges.
Once the base is crispy, fold the dosa and serve it with chutney of your choice.
