Instant Bajra Dosa Recipe For A Healthy Millet-Based Breakfast

One of the ways to make your meals gluten-free and healthier is to add millet to the recipe. Instead of lentils and rice, try this instant bajra dosa recipe for breakfast or snacks. You will love how crispy and lightweight the dish will turn out.

Ingredients

1 cup bajra (pearl millet) flour 1 grated carrot 3 cups water 2 chopped green chillies 1 small onion Salt to taste 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves ½ tsp cumin seeds

Step 1

In a bowl, mix a cup of water and bajra flour. Keep it aside so the pearl millet absorbs water and the dosa does not break.

Step 2

Add chopped and grated vegetables to the mixture along with salt to taste and two more cups of water.

Step 3

The consistency of the batter must be runny. If it is thick, the batter will not spread as expected.

Step 4

Heat a tawa, pour the thin batter on its surface and witness it forming a web-like structure.

Step 5

Keep the flame medium-low and pour ghee or oil on the edges. Wait for the base to turn golden brown and crispy.

Step 6

Flip the dosa to cook the other for a few seconds and serve it hot with sambar and coconut chutney.
