Loaded with various nuts, this dessert-y drink is rich in nutrients and taste. Make gooseberry delight at home with this simple recipe.

1 cup fresh gooseberries As required washed and halved 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup milkmaid (sweetened condensed milk) 1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds As required Cashews As required pistachios Chopped 1 teaspoon- vanilla extract For Garnish: chocolate cake or brownie, 1 strawberry, few gooseberries dipped in sugar syrup

In a saucepan, combine the gooseberries and sugar. Cook over medium heat until the gooseberries soften. Allow it to cool then blend it along with milkmaid with vanilla extract.

Now cook for 5 minutes and let it cool. Take a serving glass and pour a spoonful of the gooseberry compote at the bottom of it followed by crushed cake. Repeat the process.

Sprinkle a generous layer of chopped mixed nuts in between the compote and cake. Repeat the layers until the glass is almost full. Garnish with chopped strawberries and gooseberry slices.

Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to let the flavours meld. Enjoy your delightful gooseberry dessert in a glass!
