Satisfy your sweet tooth with these heavenly vegan black forest brownies, featuring a fudgy texture, cherry filling, and luscious dairy-free chocolate ganache.
1 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup cocoa powder 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 cup vegan dark chocolate chips 1 cup cherry pie filling
Preheat your oven to 175°C and grease a square baking dish. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar and baking powder.
Add salt and combine well. Add the vegetable oil, applesauce, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
Now Stir until the batter is smooth. Add in the vegan dark chocolate chips. Now Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish.
Now Add the cherry pie filling on top of the brownie batter, spreading it out evenly.
Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cherry filling. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares. Dust with powder sugar and enjoy!
