Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir with this recipe for Authentic Kashmiri Chai. Enjoy the creamy, pink-hued tea infused with aromatic spices.
4 cups water 2 tbsp loose black tea leaves (preferably Kashmiri tea leaves) 4 green cardamom pods, crushed 1 cinnamon stick 1/4 tsp baking soda 1 cup milk 4 tbsp condensed milk Pinch of salt
In a pan, bring water to a boil. Add the tea leaves, crushed cardamom pods, and cinnamon stick.
Let it simmer for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors. Pour in the milk and stir well.
Add the condensed milk and a pinch of salt. Adjust the sweetness and saltiness to your taste.
Now Strain the chai enjoy the delightful flavors and beautiful pink hue.
