Sago Kheer is a delightful Indian dessert made with sago pearls and milk. Creamy, rich, and subtly sweet, it's a popular choice during festivals and special occasions.
½ cup sago (sabudana) 4 cups milk ¼ cup sugar 4-5 crushed cardamom pods 1 tbsp ghee Sliced almonds and cashews (for garnish)
Soak sago in water for 30 minutes. Heat ghee in a pan, add soaked sago, and stir.
Pour in milk and cook until sago becomes translucent. Add sugar and cardamom; cook for 5 minutes.
Garnish with almonds and cashews before serving.
