Mango rabri is a delicious Indian dessert that mixes the tropical flavour of mangoes with the richness of milk. The traditional sweet dish rabri is produced by boiling milk until it decreases and becomes creamy with a hint of grain. It's flavoured with sugar, saffron, or cardamom and sweetened with sugar.

Ingredients

1 litre full-fat milk 1 cup mango pulp 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste) 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder A pinch of saffron strands (optional) Chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios) for garnish Edible rose petals for garnish (optional)

Step 1

Boil milk until it reduces by half and thickens.

Step 2

Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron (if using). Stir until sugar dissolves.

Step 3

Cool the milk mixture, then blend in mango pulp until smooth.

Step 4

Chill the mango rabri in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Step 5

Garnish with chopped nuts and edible rose petals before serving.

Step 6

Serve cold for a refreshing and indulgent dessert experience.
