1 ½ cups almond flour ½ cup gluten-free all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt ½ cup unsalted butter 1 cup granulated sugar 3 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract ½ cup plain yogurt 1/3 cup milk ½ cup sliced almonds Powdered sugar, for dusting
Preheat your oven to 175°C. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together the almond flour, gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the butter-sugar mixture.
In the prepared cake pan, add in the batter. smoothing the top and Sprinkle the sliced almonds.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes. Once baked, remove the cake and let it cool.
Once the cake has cooled, dust it with powdered sugar if desired. Serve and enjoy!
