Indulge In Creamy Delight: Traditional Rabdi Kheer

Discover the richness of the traditional Indian dessert Rabdi Kheer, which is created with rice, milk, and aromatic flavours. a delicious delicacy that enhances any celebration.

Ingredients

1 liter full-fat milk 1/4 cup basmati rice 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp chopped nuts A few strands of saffron 1 tbsp  rose water A pinch of edible camphor

Step 1

In a pan boil milk. Add the soaked rice and add it to the boiling milk. Stir well.

Step 2

Cook until the rice is tender and the milk has thickened to a creamy consistency.

Step 3

Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands to the kheer. Stir well to combine.

Step 4

Now Remove the pan from heat and let the kheer cool to room temperature.

Step 5

Once cooled, add chopped nuts, rose water, and a pinch of edible camphor Mix well.

Step 6

Refrigerate the kheer. Garnish with more chopped nuts and saffron strands.
