Kidney stones or renal stones can be extremely painful and can cause vomiting and bleeding. Here are some foods that can be added to your diet to avoid the risk of increased calcium oxalates that lead to the formation of crystal-like stones.

Cauliflower

Cruciferous vegetables like cauliflower and broccoli help to regulate potassium content in the body and reduce calcium loss which in turn lowers the risk of kidney stones.

Grains And Cereals

Adding plenty of whole grains to your diet ensures that the body has enough energy stores while maintaining healthy weight which reduces the tendency of forming stones.

Water

One of the most common causes of kidney stones is lack of proper water intake. Excessive dehydration can have adverse effects so drink at least 2-3 litres water per day.
