Here is a tamarind-based drink that finds its roots in the Mewari kitchens of Rajasthan.
Half cup soaked imli, deseeded Sugar, as per taste A pinch of freshly ground black pepper A pinch of freshly ground cardamom Black salt, as per taste 1 tbsp mint leaves, freshly chopped Ice cubes, to garnish
Prepare a syrup with tamarind pulp and sugar. Strain the squash and store it in bottle.
Now, take a glass of water and add 1.5 tbsp tamarind squash to it. Add black pepper, black salt and cardamom powder. Mix well.
Garnish with mint leaves, ice cubes and serve chilled.
