Idli Upma is a tasty South Indian dish that can be had for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It's simple and easy to make and is very filling. Here's the recipe for Idli Upma.

5 idlis, leftover 1 tbsp coconut oil 1 tsp mustard 1 tsp urad dal 1 tsp chana dal ¼ tsp cumin / jeera 1 dried red chilli Few curry leaves 1 green chilli, slit ¼ tsp salt 2 tbsp coconut, fresh 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped 1 tsp lemon juice

Take 5 idlis (preferably leftover ones) and crumble them. Leftover idlis are easier to crumble.

In a kadai, add mustard, urad dal, chana dal, cumin, dried red chilli, few curry leaves and green chilli. Saute until they sputter.

Add crumbled idli to it and mix gently. Add fresh grated coconut. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes and add coriander and lemon juice. Mix well.

Serve idli upma hot with chutney or sambhar.
