Idiyappam is a classic South Indian dish that is frequently made to celebrate harvest festivals. With just 4 simple ingredients, here’s how you can make iddiyapam in 5 easy steps.

Ingredients

2 cups rice flour 1 cup hot water 1/4 teaspoon salt Coconut milk gravy

Step 1

Mix rice flour, salt, and hot water. Stir to make a soft dough.

Step 2

Take a small portion of the dough and stuff it into the cylindrical holes of the idiyappam pot.

Step 3

Press the dough down firmly to ensure it fills the holes evenly.

Step 4

Boil some water and place the idiyappam pot over it. Steam till it is fluffy.

Step 5

Remove the pot from the steamer and unmold the noodles. Serve with coconut milk gravy.
