Also known as “anar juice,” pomegranate juice offers several health benefits, including protecting one from dehydration and overheating. That’s why it’s considered the perfect summertime beverage. Here’s a simple pomegranate juice recipe to enable you to reap the cooling benefits of the drink.

Ingredients

3 cups of pomegranate seeds 1 cup of water 2 pinches of black salt

Method Step 1

Introduce the pomegranate seeds in a blender. Pulse them till the seeds start disintegrating and releasing juice.

Step 2

Place a muslin cloth over a bowl or a container. Strain the juice into the container through the cloth; ensure that excess seed pulp is strained out.

Step 3

Add water and black salt to the juice to elevate its taste and texture. Mix well. Transfer the juice into glasses and enjoy the drink!
