In summer, you often lose your appetite but cannot give up on food. Hence, you must look for lightweight and hydrating dishes like dahi tadka. It is tangy and pairs exceptionally well with aloo bhorta and steamed rice.
1 cup curd Salt to taste 1 sliced onion ½ tsp turmeric 2 slit green chillies 1 red chilli 5-6 curry leaves 1 tsp mustard seeds Water as needed ½ tsp crushed garlic ½ tsp grated ginger ½ tbsp oil 1 tbsp coriander leaves
Heat oil in a pan and saute ginger, garlic, and chillies.
Add onion and wait for it to turn translucent.
Sprinkle turmeric powder and curry leaves.
Add a splash of water and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Add curd and a cup of water. Let the ingredients cook only for 3-4 minutes.
Sprinkle salt at the last, stir, garnish with coriander leaves, and serve.
