500g boneless chicken chunks or strips 1 egg, whisked ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp roasted gram flour 1 tbsp cornflour 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste Salt, to taste Oil, for frying

For the tempered sauce: 2-3 sprigs curry leaves 4-5 green chillies, slit 1 tbsp garlic, minced 3 tbsp yoghurt, whisked 2 tbsp ketchup 1 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp red chilli powder Salt, to taste 1 tbsp oil

A three layered bread pakora can be your easy go-to tri-colour snack.

Add the egg, spices, ginger-garlic paste, gram flour, cornflour, salt and mix well. Marinate for half an hour.

Heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and crispy.
