Place bananas in a paper bag and seal the opening, add an apple or avocado with it and let it sit. The ethylene gas released from bananas and apple will ripen it.
Preheat the oven to 150°C or 300°F, place bananas on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until skin turns black. This will ripen and soften bananas.
Poke holes in banana peels with a fork, place on a tray and microwave for 30 seconds or a minute until soft.
Let the bananas sit at room temperature for 2 to 4 days to ripen them naturally.
Keep bananas in a warm area like in front of the microwave or beside the stove to ripen them in a few days.
