How To Prepare Soothing Lemon Balm Tea For Relaxation

Lemon Balm Tea is a calming herbal tea with a lovely citrusy flavour. This tea is made from lemon balm leaves which are rich in antioxidants and helps in reducing stress and promoting better sleep. Have a cup of this tea after a long day!

Ingredients

1 cup water 1 tsp dried lemon balm leaves 1 tsp honey or jaggery ½ tsp lemon juice

Step 1

Boil 1 cup of water in a pan.

Step 2

Add the dried or fresh lemon balm leaves to the boiling water.

Step 3

Switch off the heat and cover the pan. Let the leaves steep in the hot water for 5-7 minutes.

Step 4

Strain the tea into a cup using a fine mesh strainer to remove the leaves.

Step 5

Add honey or jaggery if you want a hint of sweetness. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice for extra zing.
