Looking for a nutty, rich dessert? Walnut pie is a delicious alternative to traditional pies. With a crunchy filling and buttery crust, it's an indulgent treat that’s surprisingly easy to make.
Make a simple pie crust by combining flour, butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until it forms a dough, then press it into a pie dish and chill.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add a dash of cinnamon for warmth.
Chop walnuts and stir them into the filling mixture. Pour the walnut mixture into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake the pie at 180°C for 35-40 minutes until the filling is set. Let it cool before serving.
