Learn how to make a simple yet delicious Veg Malai Sandwich at home. This quick and filling recipe combines fresh vegetables with a creamy spread, perfect for a healthy breakfast.

Ingredients

½ carrot, grated 3 tbsp cabbage, shredded ½ capsicum, finely chopped ½ onion, finely chopped 3 tbsp sweet corn 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped ½ cup cream / malai ½ tsp pepper powder ½ tsp chilli flakes ½ tsp mixed herbs 8 slices of bread, white or brown

Step 1

In a large bowl, add the grated carrot, shredded cabbage, chopped capsicum, onion, sweet corn, and coriander.

Step 2

Add ½ cup of cream, ½ tsp of pepper powder, chilli flakes, and mixed herbs to the bowl.

Step 3

Mix all the ingredients well to form a creamy vegetable filling. Spread 2 tbsp of the mixture evenly on one slice of bread.

Step 4

Cover with another slice of bread and press gently. Trim off the sides if desired, or keep them on.

Step 5

Serve and enjoy your Veg Malai Sandwich with tomato sauce!
