How To Make The Winter Delicacy Gajar Ka Halwa

With the arrival of winters, it is officially gajar ka halwa season. Let us see how to make this delicacy in simple steps and enjoy the dessert.

Step 1

Take red carrots and grate them properly. In a wok, heat up ghee.

Step 2

Add a bay leaf and a pinch of sugar. As soon as it caramelises, add the carrots.

Step 3

Cook the carrots on a medium flame. After it is cooked, add sugar according to your taste. Stir continuously.

Step 4

Add khowa to the halwa. Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame.

Step 5

Garnish with your favourite dry fruits and enjoy a hot bowl of gajar ka halwa.
