The French Press uses pressure to force coffee to the bottom of the pot after brewing. This helps capture the purest flavours and gives the coffee a rich, dark and delicious taste.
Warm up the press by boiling water and rinsing up the press.
Measure the desired amount of coffee beans and grind them into coarse even sized granules.
Discard the hot water from the press and add the coffee granules. Boil water and add it to the press after a minute.
Using a stirrer, mix it to break up the top layer formation.
Once the timer goes off, push the plunger to the bottom of the press. Serve the coffee immediately.
