Spinach dosa is a healthier version of the South Indian classic, with the goodness of spinach added to it. Packed with iron, vitamins, and fibre, spinach dosa is perfect for breakfast or a snack. Here is how to make it:
1 cup dosa batter 1 cup spinach leaves 2 green chillies, chopped ½ inch ginger, chopped ¼ teaspoon cumin seeds Salt to taste 1 teaspoon oil or ghee
Blend the chopped spinach, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, and a little water to a smooth paste.
Mix the spinach paste into the dosa batter and add salt as per taste. Adjust the consistency with water if needed.
Heat a non-stick pan or dosa tawa on medium flame. Grease lightly with oil or ghee.
Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the hot tava and spread it thinly in a circular motion.
Drizzle oil or ghee around the edges and cook until the dosa is crispy.
Flip and cook for another minute if desired. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
